Position: Systems Analyst
Location/Dept: West Seattle/IS
The mission of Navos is to improve the quality of life of people vulnerable to mental illness by providing a broad continuum of trauma informed care with a focus on recovery and resilience. For over forty years, Navos has been responding to the needs of people with mental illness in King County. Our services are targeted to those who live at or near poverty, often as a result of their mental illness. Navos is recognized as a leader for its efforts to transform services into care focused on recovery and wellness, and on the strengths of individuals with mental illness. Every client receives individualized support to help them address their psychiatric and psychosocial needs, understand their medication, develop coping strategies, and connect to critical resources such as housing and employment. Even the most seriously ill patient participates in his or her own care.
The Systems Analyst implements computer system requirements by defining and analyzing system problems; and designing and testing standards and solutions

Education, Experience, and Certification
Bachelor’s degree is preferred, experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Familiarity with Software Development Lifecycle processes (SDLC). Experience in Software Design, Software Documentation, Software Testing, Software Maintenance, Software Development Process, Software Requirements, and Software Architecture. Software programming is not required but configuration and system administration of enterprise applications hosting in a Windows server environment on Microsoft SQL databases is needed. Specific experience with electronic health record (EHR) or electronic medical record (EMR) systems and experience with billing software. Experience with managing interfaces between enterprise applications, include extract, transform, load (ETL) tools and techniques. Experience with managing electronic data interexchange (EDI) transactions. Skills writing or modifying SQL queries may be helpful. Experience as a consultant or in roles requiring business analysis and a high degree of end-user contact and customer service is needed. Knowledge of IT Service Management best practices or ITIL foundation certification. Experience working in project teams governed by PMI project management techniques would be helpful. Ability to work well in team environment.
Physical Abilities: The position involves lifting, pushing, pulling, twisting, and stooping requiring upper and lower body strength. Lifting up to 25 lbs. may be required without assistance.
